Campion Hall hosts professor from University of Innsbruck

Campion Hall recently hosted Professor Winfried Löffler from the Department of Christian Philosophy at the University of Innsbruck, who was working on a project based on the working hypothesis that the historical conditions for the emergence of analytic philosophy in Great Britain around 1900 were much broader than the usual view permits.

The first stage of his research took him on a large-scale inspection of philosophy libraries in Oxford, including the Hall’s very own. We are delighted to hear that Professor Löffler's stay with us was fruitful and wish him the best with the second stage of his research.
