The Master’s second recently published article originated in a paper delivered at a conference which was organised by the Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales, to which he is a theological consultant. It is entitled ‘For the Life of the World’ and appears in The Second Vatican Council: Celebrating its Achievements and the Future, ed. Gavin D’Costa and Emma Jane Harris, Bloomsbury 2013.
The third recently published paper of Rev'd James Hanvey, SJ is entitled ‘The Charism of Peter: Gift and Problem’. It was first delivered at an ecumenical conference mounted in Košice, Slovakia, by the Michael Lacko Centre for Eastern and Western Spirituality, in conjunction with Heythrop College and the Catholic University in Ružomberok. The conference theme was one essential to Eastern and Western ecumenism, and was expressed in the title of its published proceedings edited by Šimon Marinčák and Anthony O’Mahony, The Primacy of the Pope in Catholic Orthodox Ecu-menical Dialogue, Košice 2013.
